Located on the crest of the Cascade Range, we receive abundant and frequent snowfall. That’s what drew Bruce Kehr and Don Adams here in 1937 to found the ski area here at Stevens Pass. They chose a great place to play! Cool air often drifts from the eastern slope of the range through the Stevens Pass area, keeping our snow relatively dry. Stevens is located on two national forests, the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie on the west side of the crest and the Wenatchee National Forest on the east. Our forested area is predominately Pacific Silver Fir, Mountain Hemlock, and Subalpine Fir, offering a visual treat when covered by fresh snowfall. The winter weather is usually comfortable, with temperatures often in the mid-twenties.
Snowfall & Terrain:
We’ve got lots of it! Averaging 460″ of snowfall each year, 105″ of annual average snowpack, covering 1,125 acres of skiable terrain, including 52 names runs and numerous bowls, glades and faces.
I apparently like to go touring when it’s the least optimal conditions. But damnit I love being outside and it always makes me happy. • This was a throwback, skiing on crusty snow with really cold temps.. but it ended up being a super super fun day. Mostly because it was so ridiculous trying to ski down. • Today, really wasn’t much different in terms of exceptional conditions. The mountain isn’t getting much snow, it’s warm and graybird skies, so of course what a perfect day to go ski! • Regardless of the conditions, it always makes me happy. Let’s pray for some snow to come in you guys! Snow dance, snow ceremony.. whatever it takes!

I take my freetime seriously, and I choose to use products that provide long lasting performance, and don't fail at the top of the hill, because a good day shouldn't be ruined by bad gear.
