𝙉𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙠 A floating boardwalk? Yes, please! This trail is buoyed with plastic floats, which delighted the kids as they tried to make it wobble gently from side to side. I like PNW boardwalk hikes in late fall/winter because their lower elevations tend to keep them snow-free and they're easy for little legs. We loved seeing the beautiful wetlands and reading about the wildlife that live there, although we only saw two ducks and a few crows. Despite the drizzle, the boardwalk wasn’t slippery, but it did seem to keep away other walkers - we only saw a small handful of families (mostly masked) and solo walkers out for a stroll. The Pond and Viewpoint side trails might be ambitiously named (no pond or view), but we had fun adding more bouncy boardwalks to our hike for a total of 1.7 mi RT. Parking is ample and free, plus there’s a relatively clean porta-potty (bring your own sanitizer) and a lovely playground that we enjoyed until a birthday party showed up. Do yourselves a favor and don’t navigate to the “North Creek Trail” because you’ll be another 10 minutes away. Oops! 📍 Land of the Coast Salish and Stillaguamish Peoples

Bald Eagle- Haliaeetus leucocephalus. This iconic raptor is seen here in what is sometimes refered to as the "horaltic pose". It is speculated that this pose is used for thermoregulation (warming or cooling of the body). It is also thought that this pose helps dry the wings on particularly damp mornings. Idk why it’s taken so long, but I remember in high school people being like, “Caffe Ladro is so much better than Starbucks.” * So here I am, super old, and trying it from voices of my adolescent past. I got the the Gibraltar and it’s like a beautifully decorated macchiato. The coffee was indeed good. And along side it was an almond croissant, which was quite crispy and was a good mild sweetness. * Is it better than Starbucks? Come to think of it, I’ve never had a macchiato from there, so hard to say. But I will say I wouldn’t go out of the way to get this over Starbucks. * #coffee #seattlecoffee

For instance going broke while rapidly heading nowhere at great personal risk, throwing yourself off a cliff of trees 3 times in a row, or following someone off a jump that you just witnessed them wipeout on only so you can do the same and be stuck waist deep in powder laughing😆🙃 No filter needed for a day this beautiful...but maybe some ibuprofen and a massage🤣 #soremuscles

Cash loves walking around Bothell and discovering new places! Mcmenamin’s Anderson School is the coolest hotel - it has amazing restaurants, bars, a pool and the cutest movie theater! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We watched “How to Train Your Dragon - The Hidden World” there last night.
