This has been the beautiful view from my office for the last couple of years. It's made more special by the garden installed with friends, the arbor I helped build as a work study student, and the woods: where Oliver and I said our vows. I made the difficult decision of resigning to homeschool Phillip and raise our babies (bc who can afford childcare for 3 kids...?). It is hard to leave a place and people that I cherish so.

Where all the wellness started circa 2009 
The nostalgia set in hard today while visiting my college campus. I was fortunate to have some of the best memories from this time in life. We’d pick rosemary and lemon balm from the herb garden before biochem exams. I loved walking the reflexology path. Our program was lucky enough to experience two quarters of cadaver lab and learn from people who donated their bodies to science. We’d run all the trails through Saint Edwards State Park and down to the lake. Oh and the cafeteria.... Bastyr has the best and healthiest school lunches! They’re open to the public. I highly recommended grabbing a friend and making a day trip out of it!
