View school through a new lens at McMenamins Anderson School. Built in 1931 on the outskirts of Seattle, Bothell’s first junior high school was completely revitalized into a historic hotel — with pure fun in mind. Visitors can enjoy dining, moviegoing, live music, swimming, games, shopping, private events, meetings, tastings, and all-around enjoyment for all ages.
Have a handcrafted beverage in the hallway, order drinks in the Principal’s Office, play pinball in The Woodshop, and forgo the lunch line for casual, sophisticated dining at The Tavern on the Square, surrounded by lush courtyard space in place of concrete. Take a dive at North Shore Lagoon indoor swimming pool and venture upstairs to Nui Nui, where you can indulge in cuisine from the South Seas, Caribbean, South America, and beyond.
Explore all 5.41 acres of McMenamins’ campus, and keep an eye out for events for all ages from assorted holiday gatherings to live music nights. Admire the one-of-a-kind artwork, which local artists created based on historical photos and interviews from alumni, families, and residents.
