By taking our brief survey and helping us bring the best of Bothell to you.
Setting New Year’s resolutions is one of our favorite traditions every January and we’d love to help you achieve some of yours!
We’ve rounded up seven popular resolutions you can tackle the next time you visit Bothell this year.
It’s easy to check off this resolution (more than once!) when you visit Bothell. Our city is filled with brick-and-mortar stores where you can shop small and support local businesses. Stop by Sankara Imports for unique gifts, and The Market at McMenamins Anderson School for McMenamins merch, craft brews, and wines.
If you’d love to support a bunch of local businesses at once, plan your next trip to Bothell around the next Making Local Markets event in our city. The outdoor fair features dozens of diverse and inclusive vendors selling handmade jewelry, ceramics, stationery, and more.
Expand your palette with flavors you’ve never tasted before. Bothell’s restaurant scene boasts a number of international cuisines, including Mexican, Vietnamese, Brazilian, and more. This year, try making a weekend out of this resolution by visiting Bothell and trying dishes and desserts from eateries like Poquitos, T55 Patisserie, and Kin Dee Thai.

Whether it’s hiking a new trail or biking through unfamiliar routes, Bothell is full of greenspaces for you to explore. For a straightforward stroll, walk through the Park at Bothell Landing, which is located right off of Main Street. For a fun bike path, whizz through the Sammamish River Trail. And for bird watching, pack your binoculars and walk through the floating dock in the North Creek Trail!

The easiest way to knock off your resolution to read more books? Step into a bookstore and explore the shelves! Visit Wanderlust Book Lounge, a cozy bookstore in Bothell with a curated selection of fiction, nonfiction, and more. If you’d love a recommendation, owners Vicki and Lisa are happy to point you in the right direction.
Find your center this year by learning how to practice mindfulness in Bothell. Ananda Washington Teaching Center offers guided meditation classes for beginners and seasoned meditators. The classes incorporate yoga and breathing exercises to help release tension and emotional blocks, perfect for the new year!
