Stop by Anderson School to visit The Market, McMenamins’ largest gift shop to date. There, you’ll find McMenamins apparel and souvenirs, and handcrafted bottles of wine, spirits, and beers. The shop now stocks Anderson Creamery pints and quarts as well, if you’re inspired to treat yourself after a day of shopping.
Pick up a new board game or discover an elusive collector’s item at Zulu’s Board Game Cafe. The unique shop-restaurant-gamer’s-paradise hybrid has countless games that are sure to impress classic board game enthusiasts to seasoned Dungeons & Dragons gamers, and everyone in between.
Head to the Pop Shops on Main to discover four local businesses selling their wares. These mini boutiques are open year-round, with minority- and women-owned businesses on rotation. Currently, you can purchase natural soaps from HappyBodySoaps, handcrafted jewelry from Bo’Bell Jewels, hydroponically-grown vegetables from Modest Family Solutions, and custom works of art by The Painter, The Potter and the Puppeteer.
Get into the holiday spirit with Wildwood Spirits and Co. Visit the Bothell distillery and tour its facilities before taking home one bottle of their award-winning Dark Door Bourbon, Kur Gin, Stark Vatten Vodka, and Arande Grappe — each!
There’s nothing better than getting comfy in a warm sweater, especially when it’s from Marlowe Boutique. The Bothell shop specializes in women’s clothing and accessories, and offers other accoutrements, such as heavenly candles and jewelry.
An ethical trade shop, Sankara Imports works directly with artisans from India, Nepal, and Turkey to bring you beautiful pieces you might not find anywhere else, including clothing, home decor, and jewelry. The boutique works with a number of charities in India and Nepal, donating at least 5% for every purchase to important causes that bring about positive change.
