By taking our brief survey and helping us bring the best of Bothell to you.
Whether you’re a fan of the classics or itching to try a new take on the most important meal of the weekend, Bothell’s got a brunch spot for you.
If you’re not sure where to start, scroll down and check out our guide for the best places to feast.
Alexa’s Cafe can satisfy almost any brunch craving, sweet or savory. The Bothell eatery is particularly known for its exceptional egg dishes — just take a look at their Scrambles and Bennys! And best of all, all of their egg-cellent menu items are served with grilled red potatoes and locally-sourced toast (we’ve got our eye on the onion-dill rye).
If you’re not in the mood for breakfast eggs, we highly recommend the Strawberry Nutella French Toast or the Lox Plate, which includes fresh fruit.
Beardslee Public House specializes in “scratch-casual cuisine,” serving dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, like their Chorizo Burrito, Andouille Brick Oven Eggs, and Apple Cinnamon French Toast.
Round out your brunch with Beardslee’s inspired takes on classic brunch cocktails. Order a Peppercorn Mary, which is made with pink peppercorn-infused vodka and house-made Bloody Mary mix, served with a salt and pepper rim and bacon. If you’re looking for a sweeter hair-of-the-dog, Beardslee’s Creamsicle Mimosa might be just the ticket. It’s made with Stoli Vanilla, Tuaca liqueur, orange juice, and Cava.
It’s hard to peruse The Cottage’s brunch menu without your mouth watering. Here’s a peek at what’s included: The Cottage Fry Up with maple sage sausage and wild mushroom hash, caramelized banana crepes, Pulled Pork Breakfast Tacos, and more.
Pair your brunch with one of their signature cocktails, like the Guava Rosé Sangria or their Espresso Martini, to kick-start your day!
Even if you aren’t a guest at McMenamins Anderson School, you can still brunch at Tavern on the Square. Located in what was once the junior high school’s cafeteria, the farm-to-table restaurant serves brunch the McMenamins way — comfort food made with tried-and-true ingredients.
Got a big appetite? We recommend the Longshoreman’s Breakfast, which includes home-style chicken fried steak, a fried egg, and country sausage gravy, all on top of a buttermilk biscuit and paired with cottage potatoes or hash browns. Yum.
